Day 9 ~ 12 miles and 13 locks

Day 9 of our marathon journey to Rickmansworth Festival from Norbury Junction in 3 weeks

Setting off early in the morning again, from Stoke Hammond

We had Soulbury Locks (3) all to ourselves with all in our favour!

Stopping off briefly for supplies at the designated mooring for Tescos and Aldi, we headed on towards the outskirts of Leighton Buzzard

Up through the lock eventually after encountering a newby boat owner and her friend (a boat owner) seemingly struggling with the lock operation.  Her engine was playing up as well which wasn't helping her confidence!

Church Lock

Passing up through the double locks

Old pumphouse building, now derelict

The mooring for last night.  Quite an early evening for us.  It was nice just to potter about the boats and have a rest....

Journey Remaining ~ 20 miles and 48 locks
